Danse Lumière is excited to offer a unique virtual dance series beginning in June! These will comprise of four classes for the month that will involve:
· Basic ballet technique
· Collaborative learning environment
· Creative movement and choreography developed by students
· Exposure to different dance styles: ballet, jazz, modern and contemporary
· Incorporating expression, musicality, and other elements of dance

PREVIOUSLY,
This summer, Dance Lumiere will be at the JCC for Children and Teens Summer Dance Camp! Campers will learn to express themselves through movement. All skill levels welcome and there will be a final performance on the Friday of each week in the JCC theater.
Monday through Friday 9am-12pm
Camp will include Creative Movement, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Choreography, Crafts, Performance and Community Potluck event. Teachers are professional choreographers with in-depth experience teaching kids. Camp is in its 11th year.

Kathryn Roszak's Summer Dance Camp for Children and Teens
Our ninth annual Summer Dance Camp for Children and Teens (ages 4-13+) will take place June 25th-29th (Monday through Friday) from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with a snack-break. This is a very popular program that includes Creative Movement, Ballet, and Tap for girls and boys.

This year's camp will be hosted by the Jewish Community Center East Bay - Berkeley Branch at 1414 Walnut St, Berkeley, CA 94709.
We offer a wonderful performing arts experience; children work on a family Open House performance at the end of camp on Friday.

You must enroll through the JCC website above. Tuition is due in full on or before the first day of attendance. There are no refunds, but at the Director's discretion, a credit for a later program or session may be given.
Please note: Parents need to provide hardy snack and drink. Please clearly clothes and personal items. We are not responsible for lost items. On Friday we have an Open House performance followed by a potluck lunch.
Suggested class attire:
Creative Movement: Wear what is comfortable.
Girls taking ballet: leotard and tights with ballet slippers.
Boys taking ballet: tee shirt, tights and ballet shoes.
Tap: tap shoes available at SF Dancewear and Payless Shoes
